Michelle Law had a smash hit with her stage play Single Asian Female, which featured – among other amusements – a charmingly eccentric mother. About Benjamin Law
Benjamin Law is a journalist, columnist, TV screenwriter and author of two books: The Family Law (2010) and Gaysia: Adventures in the Queer East (2012). Both were nominated for Australian Book Industry Awards. The Family Law is now an AACTA-nominated TV series for SBS.
About Michelle Law
Michelle Law is an AWGIE award-winning freelance writer of fiction, non-fiction, TV and film. Her debut stae play Single Asian Female sold out its season for La Boite Theatre Company.
About Jenny Phang
Jenny Phang is the mother of five children, some of whom have chose to depict charmingly eccentric mothers in their work

If Queensland Writers Centre cancels an event, we will try to reschedule it for a later date. If we cannot reschedule the event, or if you are unable to attend on the amended date, your payment will be refunded in full.
