At QWC, we want our writers writing – everyday. The daily grind gets in the way. Life gets in the way. Interruptions get in the way. Setting the habit to sit down and write each day regardless of those pressures is the singular way people become writers and sustain careers as writers.
The Chief Writing Officer at Queensland Writers Centre invites you to come to our workshop room, pick a desk, take a seat and write. Finish over four hours of dedicated writing in the home of writing Queensland Writers Centre at the State Library of Queensland.
Writing Friday is a structured day of writing following the Pomodoro Method. Twenty-five minutes of focused writing with five minutes of break time and then straight back into the grind.
10.00 get sorted, get coffee and get bum on seat.
