QWC is passionate about supporting Queensland writers. Through the Fellowships and Access program, QWC provides professional development opportunities for writers from diverse backgrounds. The QWC Fellowships and Access fund was established in 2015 through support from our members, staff, management committee and the wider literary community. The funds raised by our supporters enabled QWC to receive matched funding through Creative Partnerships Australia’s Plus 1 program.
